DAVE THE DIVER finally has a global mobile date: September 17

DAVE THE DIVER is heading from the Blue Hole to iOS and Android on September 17. MINTROCKET is describing the mobile build as a full port of the PC game, with its original progression structure intact rather than rebuilt around a conventional mobile free-to-play model.

DAVE THE DIVER finally has a global mobile date: September 17

The global mobile release is scheduled for September 17, 2026.

Both the App Store and Google Play listings identify MINTROCKET as the developer and describe the new version as a full port of the original PC game.

Downloading it will be free, finishing it will not

Players can install DAVE THE DIVER without paying and play the opening portion before deciding whether to unlock the full game.

The US App Store currently lists that full-game purchase at $9.99.

That figure is specific to the US storefront. Regional prices can differ, and the public Google Play listing does not currently expose an equivalent price in the same way.

The mobile port keeps the original loop

Dave still spends his days diving through the changing Blue Hole, catching fish and gathering resources before returning to Bancho Sushi at night.

Restaurant profits feed back into equipment upgrades, letting Dave survive longer and travel deeper on later dives.

MINTROCKET also lists the existing side quests, minigames and additional storylines as part of the mobile package.

Some changes are very specifically designed around holding a phone

Tea pouring at Bancho Sushi is the clearest example.

The mobile version can use the handset gyroscope, letting players tilt the device to control the pour rather than handling the action entirely through virtual buttons.

MINTROCKET has also added three selectable view-distance levels.

One notorious travel section gets a shortcut

The Sea People Village has received a practical adjustment.

Mobile players can fast travel directly to different NPCs instead of repeatedly crossing the area while completing quests.

It is a small change on paper, but one aimed directly at reducing repeated movement during shorter handheld sessions.

The App Store currently lists a 3.3GB download

Apple's US listing requires iOS 13.0 or later on iPhone and iPadOS 13.0 or later on iPad.

The current listed size is 3.3GB.

Apple also lists support for Apple silicon Macs and Apple Vision through its compatibility system, although the September announcement itself is centered on iOS and Android phones and tablets.

DREDGE and In the Jungle are available at launch

MINTROCKET is bringing more than the base campaign to mobile on day one.

The DREDGE content pack and the newer In the Jungle expansion are both scheduled to be available when the mobile version launches.

The announcement does not say every add-on is bundled free with the base-game unlock, so availability and inclusion should not be treated as the same thing.

The DAVE THE DIVER Digital Extra is specifically promised to players who purchase the base game.

This is one of the game's last major platform moves

DAVE THE DIVER reached full release on PC in June 2023 and subsequently expanded to Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2.

The mobile version is arriving after that long porting cycle rather than being developed as a separate service game.

The store description still emphasizes the same fishing, exploration and restaurant-management structure that defined the original.

Its daily rhythm may suit a phone better than its control scheme does

DAVE THE DIVER already breaks progress into compact units: a dive, a restaurant shift, an upgrade decision and then another day.

That structure fits portable play without requiring much redesign.

The unanswered part is how comfortable harpoon combat, rapid movement and the busier minigames will feel on a touchscreen over longer sessions.

The full mobile version launches September 17.
