Isles of Abyss is the obvious destination on Once Human's calendar, but Starry Studio is doing quite a lot before October 22. Version 3.0.6 has already rebuilt the Beastmaster around mounted combat, stripped unnecessary maintenance out of ranching and expanded the Gardener's combat kit.

The appealing part of Once Human's console launch is continuity. A player who has spent months on PC or mobile does not necessarily need to start again on PS5 or Xbox, and friends are not being divided into four separate platform populations. The awkward part is that account linking is not a merge system.
Once Human combines survival, base building, looter-shooter systems, MMO structure and creature collecting with an almost refreshing lack of restraint. Two years of updates have improved onboarding, expanded its scenarios and softened several launch frustrations. The pieces still do not always fit neatly together, but few free games offer a sandbox this generous or this unapologetically strange.
