The sequel no longer has to be inferred from job listings or carefully worded executive comments. Warner Bros. Discovery has directly named a second Hogwarts Legacy installment in its games pipeline. That confirms the project — and very little else.
Avalanche Software succeeds where Hogwarts Legacy mattered most: spells have weight, Hogwarts is rewarding to explore, and magic becomes an actual combat system. The spell weakens when the adventure leaves the castle behind and starts piling on familiar open-world chores.
