Aniimo Just Launched, and Its September-October Roadmap Is Already Packed

Aniimo is not waiting for launch week to settle down. Pawprint Studio's free-to-play RPG has been live on PC, PS5 and Xbox since September 16, with iOS and Android joining on September 23. The same day brings version 1.1, and the studio already has a live-event calendar stretching through the end of October, with some activities continuing into December.

Aniimo Just Launched, and Its September-October Roadmap Is Already Packed

September 23 is already more than a mobile launch

Mobile pre-loading opened September 22 on iOS and Android. Full access begins the following day at 10:00 UTC+8 after scheduled maintenance from 00:00 to 10:00 UTC+8. Accounts registered before version 1.1 are due to receive 500 Glimmer as maintenance compensation.

This completes the first global rollout. Aniimo has been available since September 16 on Windows PC, Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. PC and mobile progress can be shared when players use the same account and server.

The update itself is substantial. A new Legendary Journey stage introduces Irisalis, with the legendary Aniimo becoming available from September 25. Weekly Iris Petals can be used to craft the required Legendary Aniipod, open its Rift Space and eventually unlock Irisalis' exclusive Transmog ability.

Holo-Battle Interlink adds a repeatable four-player challenge

Version 1.1 also introduces Holo-Battle Interlink. The activity simulates encounters against Alpha Aniimo and supports either a four-player group or AI teammates. Each cycle contains three routes with different Alphas and environmental mechanics.

Teams choose their Aniimo lineup and buffs before entering. Each route tracks its own Star Rank, while milestone rewards depend on the combined total across all three. Players can also earn support rewards for helping others improve their rankings. Both systems reset weekly.

That is a fairly serious endgame structure for the game's second week.

Egg Heist gets its Chaos Mode

Operation: Egg Heist opens Chaos Mode on September 24. Entry requires Elite Egg Seeker IV status and a Chaos Ticket.

Pawprint is pairing the added risk with higher Prismana Aniimo Egg and Prismatic Collectible drop rates, plus a chance to discover ultra-rare Secret Collectibles. Escape conditions are stricter, and the studio strongly recommends entering with a team.

Irisalis and Dazmand become the first major post-launch targets

September 25 is particularly busy. Alongside Irisalis, Glamour Star opens with its Floral Soirée theme, asking players to accessorize an Aniimo to match the brief and hit score thresholds for rewards.

Aniimo Discovery begins the same day and runs until October 9. Players receive Search Attempts to track a new Aniimo across Idyll, with free attempts refreshing periodically and additional research buffs unlocking as progress increases.

The published September-October calendar identifies Dazmand as one of the longer discovery events during this opening live-service period.

September and October are built around constant rotations

Several launch activities are already running. Journey Handbook remains available through October 28, while Tracing the Trail continues through December 9. The first waves of Who's That Aniimo?, Idyll Ecological Investigation and Legendary Journey filled out launch week.

Vein Abundance provides a clear rotation of Prismana targets. Glynsera runs from September 21 to 27, Melloblum from September 28 to October 4, Waleetle from October 5 to 11 and Inferlupa from October 12 to 18. A Prismana Carnival follows from October 19 to 25.

Eggceleration repeatedly occupies weekend windows on September 25-27, October 2-4, October 9-11, October 16-18 and October 23-25. Glamour Star also returns during October.

October favors cadence over one giant expansion

Journey Chronicles begins October 1 and remains open through October 29. Who's That Aniimo? and Idyll Ecological Investigation then return in additional waves, including October 2-10 and October 16-22.

The announced schedule does not yet point to a major region-sized expansion. Instead, Pawprint's first six weeks are structured around rotating Prismana creatures, capture events, cooperative challenges, collection activities and cosmetic competitions.

There is no equivalent public roadmap for November onward yet. Most announced dates stop at the end of October, although Tracing the Trail and the Irisalis Legendary Journey extend into December.

The harder work starts after launch

Pawprint entered release with a long feedback list. Three beta phases preceded launch, and the studio said in early September that it had reworked mobile and controller inputs, localization and voiceover, quest guidance, Operation: Egg Heist, high-Potential wild Aniimo rates, character presentation and several Home systems.

Steam user reviews remain mixed at this early stage, a useful reminder that a busy content calendar does not automatically solve questions around balance, stability and progression.

Version 1.1 is the first meaningful post-launch answer. Aniimo has been out for less than a week and its calendar is already full.
