  Zelda: Ocarina of Time gets Version 1.1.1 on Switch 2, adding ZELDA NOTES support ahead of launch

  Nintendo has released Version 1.1.1 of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for Nintendo Switch 2, just ahead of the remake's November 5 launch. The update, dated November 4, adds support for the ZELDA NOTES companion service and addresses several unspecified issues. Players can use the Nintendo Switch App to access progress records, location challenges, a virtual ocarina and a quiz featuring more than 2,000 questions.

  The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time returns on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 5, 2026. A new overview trailer released October 14 confirms modernized movement, fully voiced cutscenes, symphonic music and the ability to play ocarina melodies using the console's microphone. Nintendo is also adding a dedicated location for revisiting defeated bosses.
