Graveyard Keeper 2 digs its way onto GOG, DRM-free and without a mandatory launcher
Graveyard Keeper 2 is now available on GOG following its September 22 launch. The PC release comes with the storefront's usual DRM-free setup, including the option to download an offline installer without making GOG Galaxy mandatory. For a game built around extracting maximum efficiency from the dead, keeping the launcher optional feels oddly appropriate.

The sequel is now on GOG
GOG has confirmed Graveyard Keeper 2 as a new release on its store, describing Lazy Bear Games' sequel as an adventure RPG that is now available. The game originally launched on September 22, 2026, with Lazy Bear Games developing and tinyBuild publishing it.
The GOG version follows the storefront's DRM-free model. It can be played without an activation requirement or permanent internet connection, and GOG offers a fully offline installer. GOG Galaxy remains optional, although the client can still handle connected features such as cloud saves and achievements.
That gives PC players another way to own the sequel without tying its basic installation and launch to a mandatory client. Graveyard Keeper 2 is currently listed among GOG's new arrivals.
The Keeper has a slightly more alarming job title now
The sequel keeps the original game's morally flexible approach to medieval business. Managing a graveyard, collecting resources, crafting equipment and automating production are still fundamental parts of the loop, but the operation has expanded well beyond maintaining a respectable patch of tombstones.
The player is now the Grand Inquisitor, and a zombie apocalypse is threatening the kingdom. That means fortifying The Town, producing weapons and armour, training an undead army and sending those troops into battle. Apparently dying remains no guarantee of getting time off.
The Town itself also needs rebuilding. Residents provide quests and problems while zombie workers can take over increasingly elaborate production systems in the background, linking the management side of Graveyard Keeper more closely with exploration and progression.
Automation has escaped the graveyard
Lazy Bear Games is putting considerably more emphasis on production chains and automation. Workshops and undead labour can process resources while the player handles quests, exploration and the increasingly unusual problem of defending a medieval settlement with another group of zombies.
The current Steam listing categorizes Graveyard Keeper 2 as an adventure, RPG and simulation game. Its official description highlights graveyard management, expanded automation, rebuilding The Town and commanding an undead army, with September 22, 2026 listed as the release date.
GOG also has both games in one bundle
The storefront has paired the new release with The Grave Deal, a bundle containing the original Graveyard Keeper and Graveyard Keeper 2. GOG advertises an additional 20 percent bundle discount and automatically lowers the total according to games already owned on the account.
That makes the displayed total dependent on region and existing ownership rather than one universal price. Players who already have the first game do not have to buy it a second time simply to use the bundle discount.
