Tides of Annihilation has never lacked enormous knights, particles or trailer-ready destruction. Gamescom gives Eclipse Glow Games a less forgiving test: people can actually play it. Once that happens, its spectral knights stop looking like glorified cooldown attacks and start behaving more like a second combat layer running alongside Gwendolyn.
