  Marvel Rivals Cracks Down on Toxic Chat With Bans Lasting Up to One Year

  Players repeatedly abusing voice or text chat in Marvel Rivals now face tougher consequences. In an official announcement published October 16, 2026, NetEase Games confirmed stronger penalties for communication violations. Its moderation guidelines allow chat bans lasting up to 365 days, temporary matchmaking restrictions and long-term account suspensions in severe cases. The developer also promises to keep improving its detection systems.
