Steam's September 21 week is packed: Silent Hill, Control and Graveyard Keeper land within days of each other
The final full week of September is not giving PC players much room to clear the backlog. Steam's calendar stacks three substantial releases across three consecutive days, then surrounds them with Kingdom Rush, EA SPORTS FC and a long tail of smaller games.

September 21 is the quieter entry point. Happy Wheels is among the day's releases, joined by Dressmaker, Backrooms: Code Yellow, Yandere Virus and Ved: Recure.
Tuesday is where the schedule gets heavier.
Graveyard Keeper 2 arrives September 22
Lazy Bear Games returns to medieval cemetery management on September 22 with Graveyard Keeper 2. The sequel keeps the graveyard, farming, crafting and deeply questionable business decisions of its predecessor while expanding toward rebuilding an entire town and commanding undead forces.
The player is now the Grand Inquisitor, facing a zombie apocalypse that can naturally be converted into another opportunity for automation and profit.
A free demo launched September 14 and includes roughly three to four hours of the opening game. Save data carries into the full release. Steam is also advertising a 20% pre-purchase discount, bringing the listed US price from $24.99 to $19.99 until launch.
SILENT HILL: Townfall takes Wednesday
September 23 belongs to SILENT HILL: Townfall. Screen Burn's standalone entry moves the series to St. Amelia, an isolated Scottish island in 1996, with Simon Ordell returning to a place tied to his past.
Townfall is the first full-length Silent Hill designed entirely around a first-person perspective. Its structure mixes exploration, evasion, limited combat and story-driven puzzles, with a portable television called the CRTV replacing the familiar radio as a way of detecting unstable signals and uncovering fragments of the town's history.
The standard edition is listed at $49.99. A $59.99 Deluxe Edition includes 48-hour advance access beginning September 21, plus a digital soundtrack, artbook and alternate outfit.
CONTROL Resonant follows on September 24
Remedy then takes Thursday with CONTROL Resonant. Dylan Faden becomes the sole playable protagonist as the paranatural crisis spreads beyond the Oldest House and into a distorted Manhattan.
The sequel also shifts mechanically toward an action-RPG built around melee combat, a transforming weapon and broader urban zones. Remedy is self-publishing the game, with the Steam standard edition listed at $59.99.
September 24 is crowded beyond Control. EA SPORTS FC 27 launches on the same day, and Ironhide Game Studio is releasing Kingdom Rush 6: Genesis TD.
Kingdom Rush goes back before its own beginning
Genesis returns to the early history of Linirea and focuses on a younger Vez'nan before the events that shaped the rest of the tower-defense series.
Ironhide lists 18 campaign stages across three landscapes, more than 40 enemy types and six boss battles. Windows and macOS versions are scheduled for September 24.
The smaller releases get more room toward the weekend
Wild West Pioneers enters Early Access on September 25, while a range of smaller projects fill out the remaining schedule.
Japanese Ramen Simulator closes this particular list on September 27 with restaurant management, cooking and online co-op. Going from psychological Scottish horror to collaborative noodle preparation in four days is an unusually accurate summary of Steam.
