PS Plus packs September with Dragonwilds, WWE 2K26 and a staggered Game Catalog lineup
PlayStation Plus has two different September lineups running at once. Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes are already available as Monthly Games, while RuneScape: Dragonwilds and WWE 2K26 kick off the Extra and Premium additions today.

Essential already has four games to claim
September's Monthly Games became available on September 1 and remain claimable through October 5. Every PlayStation Plus tier can add Sniper Elite: Resistance, MLB The Show 26, Wobbly Life and Chained Echoes to its library during that window.
Sniper Elite: Resistance brings Rebellion's stealth and long-range shooting back to occupied France, complete with campaign co-op and Axis Invasion. MLB The Show 26 is the PS5-only entry of the four and also comes with a limited Jump Start Bundle for subscribers.
Wobbly Life is the deliberately sillier option, offering an interactive sandbox for solo play or four-player co-op. Chained Echoes closes the group with a 16-bit-inspired RPG full of magic, dragons and pilotable mechs.

Dragonwilds launches straight into Extra and Premium
RuneScape: Dragonwilds joins the Game Catalog on September 15, the same day Jagex launches its full 1.0 version on PS5. It is available to Extra and Premium subscribers from day one.
Dragonwilds takes RuneScape into open-world survival crafting. Players explore Ashenfall alone or in groups of up to four, gathering materials, building, developing skills and eventually taking on the dragons controlling the continent.
Jagex says the game passed one million sales during its PC Early Access period. Its PS5 debut is also a milestone for RuneScape itself, bringing the franchise to consoles after decades primarily associated with PC.
WWE 2K26 is the other major September 15 addition
WWE 2K26 joins Extra and Premium on PS5 today. Sony highlights a roster of more than 400 playable Superstars and Legends, with CM Punk at the center of this year's Showcase mode.
Date Everything! actually arrived earlier, becoming available through the catalog on September 9 in the US and UK and September 10 in Japan. Its dating-sim premise turns household objects into fully voiced characters who can become friends, enemies or romantic partners.
September 22 belongs to Ball x Pit and Slitterhead
The next scheduled batch arrives September 22 in markets including the US, UK and Japan. Ball x Pit combines ricocheting projectiles, roguelite progression and base building, while Slitterhead heads in almost the opposite direction with supernatural action-horror in the streets of Kowlong.
Sony's staggered rollout means not every announced Game Catalog title appears on September 15 in those regions, even though September's lineup is presented as a single monthly group.
Three more games follow on September 29
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound, Dungeons of Hinterberg and Sniper Elite: Resistance are scheduled for September 29.
Ragebound takes Ninja Gaiden back into 2D action through The Game Kitchen, while Dungeons of Hinterberg mixes dungeon exploration and puzzle solving with a holiday in the Austrian Alps.
Sniper Elite: Resistance creates the oddest bit of overlap. It is already one of September's Essential Monthly Games, then joins the Extra and Premium Game Catalog later in the same month.

Premium gets two older additions of its own
PlayStation Plus Premium also adds Mega Man X Command Mission for PS5 and PS4. The RPG spin-off sends X, Zero, Axl and their allies through Giga City in a turn-based adventure rather than the series' usual side-scrolling action.
Metro Redux joins Premium on PS4 as well, bringing the remastered versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light together in one package.
September therefore ends up less dependent on one blockbuster than on sheer range. Dragonwilds still stands out for one reason: Extra and Premium members get it on PS5 on the same day everyone else does.
