The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct promises over 35 games on Sunday, with more than 10 world premieres still under wraps
Tokyo Game Show still has another sizeable broadcast left in it. On September 20, PC Gamer's Tokyo Direct will spend roughly 90 minutes on more than 35 PC games, including over 10 world premieres. The confirmed list is useful mostly because it shows how much of the program has not been revealed yet.
The PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct 2026 airs Sunday, September 20 at 9 am PT, 12 noon ET and 5 pm BST. In Japan, that means a 1 am start on Monday, September 21.
Frankie Ward is hosting the broadcast, while PC Gamer senior editor Wesley Fenlon will contribute interviews recorded directly from the Tokyo Game Show floor.
More than 35 games, but only a small part of the list is public
PC Gamer is advertising more than 35 games and over 10 world premieres, alongside new trailers, DLC, release-date announcements and possible surprise releases.
Confirmed participating names include Devolver Digital, Firefly Studios, New Blood Interactive, The Game Bakers, Total Mayhem Games, Veewo Games, KO_OP, Chorus Worldwide, Fireshine Games and WuselFaktory.
Most of the actual world premieres have not been named in advance.
Stronghold 4 is coming back with another trailer
Firefly Studios will show a new trailer for Stronghold 4, the mainline sequel first revealed during June's PC Gaming Show.
The 2026 Steam release returns the castle simulator to medieval England with a 22-mission campaign starring Penryn of Wethel. Firefly is building the game in Unreal Engine 5 and tying weather, terrain, supply chains and castle construction more closely together.
Rain reducing archery range is considerably more useful information than another ray-tracing bullet point.
Virtue and a Sledgehammer will finally get its date
Devolver Digital has confirmed that the showcase will reveal the release date for Deconstructeam's Virtue and a Sledgehammer.
The narrative exploration game follows a woman returning to her hometown and confronting painful memories while smashing through an environment occupied by strange robotic figures.
The announcement itself is confirmed. The date is not, which gives Sunday something concrete to reveal.
Tenebris Somnia gets the longer treatment
New Blood Interactive's Tenebris Somnia is scheduled for a deeper presentation rather than a brief appearance.

Its survival-horror structure combines retro pixel-art exploration and combat with live-action cinematic sequences produced with actors and practical filmmaking.
The shift between those two visual languages is the entire hook: a deliberately old-fashioned game can suddenly replace the pixels with something disturbingly physical.
Let's Build a Dungeon is among the other known appearances
Springloaded will bring a new trailer for Let's Build a Dungeon, its management game about creating an MMO, running the studio behind it and watching simulated players inhabit the result.
Arcane Ermine, Caldera Interactive, City From Naught, HABBY.FUN, Loftia, Megabit, New Tales and Skystone Games are among the other companies attached to the broadcast without every title or announcement being specified beforehand.
The unknown part is still most of the appeal
With more than 10 world premieres promised, the confirmed games represent only part of the 90-minute schedule. PC Gamer is also teasing shadowdrops and release-date announcements.
That does not turn every unfilled slot into evidence for Half-Life 3, Bloodborne on PC or whichever impossible announcement happens to be fashionable this week.
Stronghold 4, Virtue and a Sledgehammer and Tenebris Somnia are real. The rest can wait until Sunday.
