Zenless Zone Zero could have released Claret as another Electric damage dealer with a large weapon, a limited banner and slightly larger multipliers. HoYoverse chose the more disruptive option: give her an entirely new Specialty, complete with new upgrade materials, W-Engines and a mechanic designed to make CRIT Rate above 100 percent useful instead of wasteful.
