ANANTA launches January 15, 2027, and NetEase is putting its enormous anime city on phones from day one
ANANTA finally has a deadline. NetEase Games and Naked Rain will launch the free-to-play urban RPG worldwide on January 15, 2027 for PlayStation 5, PC, iOS and Android, with pre-registration already open across those ecosystems. The GTA comparison remains unavoidable whenever another car tears through Nova City traffic, but the game's own structure is becoming clearer: multiple playable identities, social influence, more than 100 NPCs, environmental martial arts and a city designed to be treated as something other than scenery. That is ambitious on console. Putting the same proposition on a phone makes it considerably more interesting.
