Steelport is getting another port. Feral Interactive has confirmed an October 29 launch for Saints Row: The Third Remastered on iOS and Android, with App Store pre-orders and Google Play pre-registration already available.

This is the full Steelport package

The mobile release retains the main game rather than carving out a smaller Saints Row experience. Its 47 missions, character creator, open-world activities, vehicles and online co-op are all part of the package.

The DLC comes along too. Genkibowl VII, Gangstas in Space and The Trouble With Clones are included, alongside more than 30 additional weapons, vehicles and costumes. For a game that has accumulated several editions over the years, Feral is at least making the contents of this one pleasantly straightforward.

Touchscreen first, but not touchscreen only

The interface has been adapted for mobile with customisable touch controls. Players can ignore them if they prefer: gamepads are supported, and Feral also lists keyboard and mouse compatibility.

That range of input options matters more here than it would for a simple mobile conversion. Saints Row mixes third-person shooting, driving, aircraft, menus and free-roaming city exploration. Preserving those systems while changing the primary control surface is a sizeable part of the porting job.

There is still a full-sized game underneath

On iOS, the App Store currently lists a download size of roughly 19.2 GB and requires iOS 18. Feral is explicitly telling prospective buyers to check device compatibility before purchasing. Detailed performance targets for individual phones and tablets have not been published yet.

That leaves one useful question for launch day: not whether Saints Row can technically exist on a phone, but how gracefully this particular remaster scales down to one. The answer arrives on October 29.
